Coaching and Consulting

Tom brings a multitude of experiences to his coaching and consulting work.

A former Program Director and Research Associate at the University of Michigan, he also served as a Guest Lecturer in the University’s Business School, Department of Psychology, and School of Public Health.

His work with a diverse client base that includes FedEx, Home Depot, Marriott, the US military, Lockheed Martin, GlaxoSmithKline, Domino’s Pizza, Dell, TD Canada Trust, the CIA, the University of Michigan Health Systems, Canadian Tire, and YPO gives him a wide base of excellence from which to draw best practices.

A company founder, he started a wellness firm and built it into a network of 1200 instructors serving 300 hospitals and most of the Fortune 500 firms. More than 1,000,000 people participated in its programs. Two different Surgeon General Reports cited its program quality.

Tom served as Editorial Director of four human resource and leadership magazines – one of which surveyed and summarized the best books and magazine articles.

Because of this foundation, Tom brings you a fresh set of eyes that have been honed by years of experience. Whether he’s coaching a senior leader, working across the enterprise or on a series of coaching calls with sales managers, Tom elicits behavior change that produces results.

Everything Tom illuminates, suggests, or recommends works because it’s based not upon opinion but upon research, testing, and implementation.
